JCT Festival Transport – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between the customer (“you”, “your”) and JCT Festival Transport, a family-operated Victorian bus company (“we”, “our”, “us”). By purchasing a ticket, booking a service, or using our website, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Company Details

1.1 JCT Festival Transport operates as a fully licensed and accredited Victorian bus operator.

1.2 All transportation is carried out exclusively by JCT Coaches and MELP vehicles and drivers. We do not subcontract services to third parties.

1.3 We are an independent transport provider and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of any festival or event organiser.

2. Bookings and Payments

2.1 All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon full payment.

2.2 Tickets and bookings are valid solely for the departure date, time, and location specified on your confirmation.

2.3 It is your sole responsibility to arrive at the specified pickup location on time. Buses will depart as scheduled and will not wait beyond the stated departure window. No refunds will be provided for missed departures.

3. Refunds, Cancellations, and Transfers

3.1 Refunds will only be issued in accordance with the following schedule:

  • 100% Refund – Cancellation made 5 or more business days before departure.

  • 50% Refund – Cancellation made 2–4 business days before departure.

  • No Refund – Cancellation made within 48 hours of departure.

3.2 If the festival or event for which you booked transportation is cancelled by the organiser, JCT Festival Transport will refund 80% of the ticket price. The remaining 20% covers administrative and operational costs, including pre-scheduled buses and drivers.

3.3 Tickets may be transferred to another person or date, subject to availability, provided the request is made at least 3 business days prior to departure.

4. Private Bus Hire

4.1 For private bus bookings, the customer is responsible for obtaining any required festival entry passes, permits, or bus access passes for their group.

4.2 Pickup and drop-off locations must be finalised no later than 5 business days before departure.

4.3 JCT Festival Transport reserves the right to refuse service if passengers fail to comply with agreed pickup times or conduct expectations.

5. Liability and Conduct

5.1 JCT Festival Transport shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or missed connections caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic, road closures, weather events, or festival entry delays.

5.2 Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings at all times. We do not accept liability for lost, damaged, or stolen property.

5.3 Any passenger displaying disruptive, unlawful, or unsafe behaviour may be removed from the service without refund.

5.4 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of our services shall be limited to the amount you paid for the ticket or booking.

6. Governing Law

6.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.

6.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
